Some dear friends of Matthew’s founded the Strother School for Radical Attention, choosing his name as a way of honoring the role he played in shaping their thinking about attention.

The Strother School is separate from the Matthew Strother Center for the Examined Life, but we are touched by the love and recognition it embodies.

It’s moving to see Matthew’s influence continuing to ripple outward, inspiring new projects and communities that carry his spirit of presence and care into the world.
